If you are stuck with a spinning wheel just outside of your Blackboard classroom, your computer most likely does not have enough memory to launch.
* Try accessing Blackboard in another browser (Firefox, Safari, MS Edge). If you are able to access the class in another browser, clear the cache in the first browser, and then you should be able to use it again to access the class.
* Clear the browser cache on your computer. The local website files stored on your computer become outdated quickly and can cause problems. Click the link to learn how to clear your cache in Chrome. https://support.google.com/accounts/answer/32050?hl=en&co=GENIE.Platform%3DDesktop
* Check the filters on your computer. Some internet filters (NetNanny, Norton, etc.) block media. If so, add https://wtma.geniussis.com to the filter's white (allowed) sites list.
* Try logging into Blackboard on another computer and accessing the information/site.
* Try resetting the modem that provides your internet access.
* Newer products have tighter security software. Check the overall security settings on your computer. There might be default security settings in place that block the use of Blackboard. For example, see if pop-ups are blocked, which would stop you from opening outside websites in new windows.
* If you are able, we suggest using one browser for Well-Trained Mind Academy classes, and a different browser for everything else.
