What does it mean to audit a class?
If a student chooses the attendance role of ‘audit’ they will no longer have the opportunity to receive a grade in a course. In order to have the class listed on the transcript with the grade of ‘audit’ a student needs to attend and participate in class, or watch the recording of class and complete the requirements for delayed student participation.
What are the benefits of auditing a class?
When a student is auditing a class, they do not have the pressure of completing assignments. Auditing is a good option for students who would like to show they had exposure to a subject from an expert instructor.
